Our practice is committed to providing you and your family with safe, gentle, and high-quality dental care. We understand that you or your child may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. We are sensitive to your needs, and it is our goal to make you feel comfortable visiting our practice while providing the best care possible.
Your first visit
During your first visit, we will review your dental and medical history forms, and take X-rays of your teeth if needed. Dr. Saepoff will meet with you to discuss your X-rays, check your teeth and gums for cavities or early signs of tooth decay or gingivitis, create an individual treatment plan, and answer any questions you may have. You may also schedule your first cleaning for this same visit.
For very young children, the first visit with us may just involve chatting with Dr. Saepoff and riding in our exam chair ... and that’s it! We want our youngest patients to have a positive, trusting experience to build upon.
Remember to bring these with you to your first appointment
- Your completed patient information forms
- Your insurance card if applicable
Regular checkups are an important part of maintaining a healthy mouth
We recommend most patients visit us every six months for regular checkups and routine teeth cleanings to help you keep your teeth and gums healthy.
We understand you have a busy schedule, so when you’re preparing to visit our office, please remember your appointments can last between 45 and 90 minutes. Please let us know if you are short of time so we can do our best to get your visit completed on time. Remember that we see work-in emergencies during the day but we will try to see each patient as close to their appointment time as possible.
